Gavin and Vivien Crayston welcome you to The Sewing Machine Shop.
As the new owners of this business which was established in 1957, we hope to build an exciting new shop for you on the excellent foundations established by the previous owners. Excellent service in a friendly environment will welcome you as we share our passion for all aspects of the craft.
Based in Worthing, West Sussex, and within easy reach of Brighton, Bognor Regis, Burgess Hill, Chichester, Crawley, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Lewes and indeed the whole of East Sussex and West Sussex. Situated adjacent to the A259 and minutes from both the A24 and A27, The Sewing Machine Shop is easily found and there is ample parking nearby. A map and other contact information here.
We offer a complete range of sewing machines, overlockers, steam ironing presses, computerised embroidery and sewing machines, cover stitch machines, sewing furniture and sundries, including all the best known quality names: Bernina, Babylock, Brother, Elna,
Frister & Rossman, Janome, Juki, Horn cabinets, Husqvarna, Pfaff, Singer, Toyota, Viscount and more. We offer a part exchange service on your old sewing machine giving you a wider choice of new ones.
We offer a complete maintenance and repair service.
Our on-site, fully equipped workshops, hold spare parts for all the well known makes and offer a quick and reliable service to get your machine back into full working order. Servicing is not only available but recommended as regular servicing will improve the life and ease of use of your machine. Free Estimates put you in a position to decide whether to proceed.
We provide a mail order service that covers the whole of the UK and you are welcome to contact us or visit our shop for friendly expert advice. Please note: Mail order is not available on Juki machines.
